The best 2 person infrared saunas on Amazon
1. Dynamic Saunas Andora: best overall
The Andora is the easiest two-person cabin here to live with. Its listing gives an inside size of 43 x 37 x 68 inches, a comfortable width for two adults side by side, and an outside size of 47 x 43 x 74 inches. It has 6 low EMF carbon panels around the cabin, a maximum of 135°F with 115°F to 130°F recommended, and it plugs into a standard 15 amp, 120 volt outlet with no special wiring. Dynamic says it assembles in about an hour, even on carpet. The 5-year limited warranty covers the electronic components, not labor.
2. JNH Lifestyles Joyous+ 2-Person: most heat
If you want sessions hotter than the usual infrared range, the Joyous+ is listed at up to 170°F, the highest here. It has 8 carbon fiber heaters, Canadian Hemlock walls and the same 47.3 x 39.5 x 75 inch footprint as the original Joyous. JNH’s own specification page gives 1700 watts, an inside size of 44.75 x 37 x 71.5 inches, a 42-inch bench and an average EMF reading under 8 mG from third-party tests. The listing’s warranty field says 1-year standard. Our Joyous vs Joyous+ comparison goes through the differences in detail.
3. Dynamic Saunas Cordoba: best full spectrum
The Cordoba adds near and mid infrared emitters to the usual far infrared panels. Inside it’s 42 x 36 x 68 inches, it reaches 140°F with 120°F to 130°F recommended, and it draws 1750 watts from a standard 15 amp, 120 volt plug, which is unusual for a full spectrum cabin: several others need a 20 amp circuit. Like the Andora it assembles in about an hour and carries Dynamic’s 5-year limited warranty. Not sure you need full spectrum? Read full spectrum vs far infrared.
4. Homsido 2 Person: app control
The Homsido is the one to pick if you want to start the sauna from your phone. Its listing describes app control to turn it on, set the temperature and set the timer remotely, so it can be warm when you walk in. It’s hemlock, 120 x 100 x 180 cm (about 47.2 x 39.4 x 70.9 inches), with 8 heating panels and 2000 watts. Note the power: Homsido says it needs a dedicated 20 amp circuit, so check your breaker before you order. It lists a 5-year warranty on the heating system and the wood structure. The listing doesn’t give a maximum temperature.
5. JNH Lifestyles Joyous 2 Person: simple and proven
The original Joyous is the simpler JNH cabin: 7 carbon heaters, 140°F, a color light and Bluetooth, in Canadian Hemlock, with the same outside size as the Joyous+. It weighs 250 pounds and its listing’s warranty field gives 2 years for residential use. Read our full Joyous 2 Person review.
Need something smaller? The Dynamic Barcelona is sold for one or two people, at 36 x 32 x 67 inches inside. It’s roomy for one and snug for two.
How to choose a 2 person infrared sauna
- Inside width: this is what makes a cabin comfortable for two. The Andora is 43 inches wide inside and the Cordoba 42; a 1-2 person cabin like the Barcelona is 36. If both of you are broad-shouldered, go wider.
- Floor and ceiling: most two-person cabins need about 47 x 40 inches of floor plus room for the door, and stand 68 to 75 inches tall. Leave a few inches on every side.
- Power: the Dynamic and JNH cabins here run on a standard 15 amp outlet. The Homsido needs a dedicated 20 amp circuit. Whatever the rating, plug straight into the wall, never into an extension cord.
- Heat: most infrared cabins top out at 135°F to 140°F, which is plenty for a full sweat because the heaters warm you directly. Want more? The Joyous+ reaches 170°F.
- Warranty: read what it covers. Dynamic’s 5 years cover the electronic components but not labor; Homsido’s cover the heating system and wood.
- Wood: every cabin here is hemlock, which is pale and close to odorless. See the best wood for an infrared sauna if you’re weighing cedar.
Two people, one cabin: what to expect
With two people sweating, the air in the cabin gets more humid, so a two-person session can feel hotter than the same setting alone. Agree on a temperature before you start, sit on towels, and keep a bottle of water each within reach. If one of you is new to saunas, keep the first sessions short and on a lower setting. Read our guide to using a sauna safely before your first session.
