JNH Lifestyles Freedom was JNH’s Canadian Western Red Cedar far infrared range, made in five sizes: 1 person, 2 person, 3 person, 4 person and a 4 person corner model. None of the five is on Amazon today, and JNH no longer uses the Freedom name. JNH’s Amazon store now lists three saunas: the Joyous 2 Person, the Joyous+ 2-Person and the Joyous+ 1-2 Person. This guide covers both: what each Freedom model was, and which current JNH sauna fits the same space.

Joyous 2 Person
JNH’s entry two-person cabin: 7 carbon heaters, 140°F, a color light and Bluetooth, on a standard household outlet. Read our full Joyous 2 Person review.
Joyous+ 2-Person
The same footprint as the Joyous and the Freedom 2 Person, with 8 heaters, up to 170°F, red light therapy and a reading lamp, per its Amazon listing.
Joyous+ 1-2 Person
The Joyous+ build in a smaller cabin, 39 x 36 x 73 inches outside and 36 x 32 x 67 inches inside, per its Amazon listing.
Which JNH sauna suits which space
- One person, small room: the Freedom 1 Person took a 35.5 inch square. The Joyous+ 1-2 Person needs a little more, 39 x 36 inches.
- Two people: the Freedom 2 Person, the Joyous 2 Person and the Joyous+ 2-Person all measure 47.3 x 39.5 inches, so any of them fits the same spot.
- Three or four people, or a corner: JNH has no model in these sizes on Amazon. See our guides to 3 person, 4 person and corner saunas for other brands.
What JNH sells on its own website now
JNH’s own site, checked on 14 October 2026, lists these ranges. They’re sold direct by JNH rather than on Amazon:
- Tosi: full spectrum saunas in red cedar or hemlock, in 1, 2, 3 and 4 person sizes plus a corner model
- Joyous+ and Ensi+: high-heat far infrared saunas that reach 170°F
- Arki: red light therapy saunas
- Joyous and Ensi 1-Person: single-seat far infrared saunas
Freedom vs Joyous: the difference
The Freedom range was red cedar; every JNH sauna on Amazon today is Canadian Hemlock. Cedar has a stronger scent and costs more, while hemlock is pale and close to odorless. Heater counts are similar size for size (7 in the Freedom 2 Person, 7 in the Joyous, 8 in the Joyous+). The Joyous+ adds the higher 170°F limit and red light therapy, which the Freedom range didn’t list.
