This sauna performs well in the heat stakes – it has 9 Carbon Fiber Infrared heaters (with a wattage of 1980W). There are 4 heaters at the back, 2 at shoulder height to the side, 2 lower down (at leg height) and 1 at calf height. The heaters are positioned in order to maximise heat output.

Features

As well as great heat you will find built in AUX controls and premium speakers so you can plug in your own audio and listen to your favourite tunes as you relax. There’s also a digital control so you can set the temperature and how long you want to use your sauna for. This sauna also has super-efficient LED lighting – saving on cost and lasting longer than regular lighting.

There’s an EMF rating of 2 – 3 mG at 6 inches away from heater (average rating), and the electrical requirements are as follows: 110V ~ 120V / Dedicated 20Amps Breaker (NEMA 5-20P Socket Required). This sauna is ETL Approved and all of the components are ETL approved too.

At 70.9″(w) x 47.3″(d) x 75″(h) this sauna can accommodate up to 4 people, so it’s great to share with friends and family.

Materials

The exterior of the sauna is FSC Certified Canadian Western Cedar and the interior is made from a double layer of FSC Certified Canadian Western Red Cedar. There are no chemicals added to the wood (hence it’s FSC certification as “green,” meaning it’s completely natural). For the record there’s no plywood either. The door is made of glass (safety glass of course), which allows for a higher temperature within and great insulation.

Structure

The sauna is built to last – the tongue and grove construction means it’s durable and strong. There’s a dual wall too and this means that heat insulation is well taken care of, so won’t have to worry about the wood expanding. There’s some great news for novice DIY-ers too – this sauna is easy as pie to fit together.

NO tools are needed – it just fits together. So, if you want to lend it to a friend simply break it down, transport it and fit it back together at their house (but we don’t think you will want to be without it once you have tried it – tell them to buy their own)!
